The team made some very significant progress duing the Austin nighttime hours.
At approximately 21 AUG 2008 10:00 PM CDT, some changes were made to our firewall which appeared to fix the ni.com Web site FTP/HTTP file download problems. That fix has been tested throughout the night and FTP/HTTP file downloads continue to work.
All DHCP issues in Mopac-C should now also be resolved, so all users should be able to connect to the network via wired or wireless connections.
Known issues that remain are:
- The manufacturing floor in Austin appears to be experiencing DHCP issues preventing machines from connecting to the network
- Some reports of websites external to NI being only intermittently available to people web surfing from within NI
- VPN access via the wireless network on the ‘Internet’ SSID is unavailable
Any other issues should be reported to the Service Desk or to your local IT support.
