The network maintenance performed over the weekend went smoothly and early results indicate that the network is in a more stable state. In addition to the maintenance, further troubleshooting was conducted to try to address our remaining issues. At this point, we believe we have addressed the issue of access to external web sites, however, due to its intermittent nature, it is difficult for us to be certain.
Believed to be resolved:
- Access to external web sites is inconsistent from user to user – Should you continue experiencing problems with this, please contact the Service Desk
The most significant issues we continue to experience are as follows:
- Performance on ni.com is stable, but is still at risk of intermittent performance issues
- Wireless VPN access via the ‘internet’ SSID is not available on campus
