The network maintenance performed over the weekend went smoothly and early results indicate that the network is in a more stable state.  In addition to the maintenance, further troubleshooting was conducted to try to address our remaining issues.  At this point, we believe we have addressed the issue of access to external web sites, however, due to its intermittent nature, it is difficult for us to be certain.

Believed to be resolved:

• Access to external web sites is inconsistent from user to user – Should you continue experiencing problems with this, please contact the Service Desk

The most significant issues we continue to experience are as follows:

• Performance on ni.com is stable, but is still at risk of intermittent performance issues
• Wireless VPN access via the ‘internet’ SSID is not available on campus

All branch access should be restored.

The 13 branches with VPN-only connectivity are currently down.  The Network Team is aware of the issue and is currently troubleshooting to narrow down the cause.

We are in full business verification on all systems except fionn. fionn is down for backups. We will begin testing their at approx 10:30. No major issues to report.
